Meet The Coaches

SHAWN CHASE, Head Coach

Shawn has been with Packer Soccer Camps since 1986 as a camper, CIT, Coach and Head Coach. He is a graduate of Trinity Catholic High School where he was a 4 year varsity starter and All FCIAC Selection. He was also a member of FC United Soccer Club. Shawn graduated from Merrimack College in 2002 with a degree in Chemistry and Math and has been teaching and coaching Varsity Soccer at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA for the past 5 years. He is also a USSF Licensed Official.

DAVID SHARPE, Assistant Head Coach

David was a Packer Soccer camper for 7 years, a CIT for 2 years, a coach for 3 years, and Assistant Camp Director for 2 years. He played soccer at Staples High School in Westport. David was All-FCIAC, Norwalk Hour & CT Post All Area Team as a goalie, and was active with the CT ODP, Super Y League and FC Westchester starting Keeper U 11-19. He currently plays for Villanova University in Philadelphia.

LOUIS ELNEUS

Louis is the Founder and Director of Haiti Lumiere de Demain ("Light of Haiti"), a non profit organization providing school books & solar powered flashlights for the children of Haiti. Packer Soccer Camp donates proceeds from the camp to this fine organization. Louis has been coach at Packer Soccer Camp for 12 years.

Louis graduated from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, CT, where he spent four years playing soccer. Following college he was the assistant women's coach at the Univ. of Bridgeport for two years, then assisted men's coach Josepf McGuigan at Sacred heart.

For the past three years Louis has coached the Rowayton Women's Soccer League as well as various youth programs and individual players.

MEREDITH BARCIA

Meredith is currently playing soccer and attending Penn State University. Meredith was all FCIAC while at New Canaan H.S. and a Packer Soccer Camp camper for 7 years and coach for 5 years.

GRAHAM CHRISTENSEN

Graham has been playing soccer for 12 years in Darien, where he starred for Darien HS, was All FCIAC during his Jr. & Sr. years, and Captain of his team. He played Beachside Premier for 3 seasons. Graham will be attending Connecticut College where he to continues his outstanding soccer career. Graham was a Packer Soccer Camp
camper for 3 years, CIT for 1 year and a coach for 4 years.

CATHERINE KAPUSTYNSKI

Catherine played soccer at Darien High School; was Captain of her team and 2nd team All-FCIAC in 2006 & 2007. She will be attending Skidmore College where she will continue her impressive soccer career.

MICHAEL ALTAMURA

Michael was elected captain of the Stamford High School Soccer Team and was nominated to the all FCIAC West team. He also plays for the Stamford Hurricanes travel team and has been captain for the past 5 years. He has been a CIT for 2 years and coach for 1 year at Packer Soccer Camps.

MEGAN BRADLEY

Megan has been playing soccer for 12 years. She played for various Norwalk travel teams for 5 years and was on the Brien McMahon varsity team for 3 years. She has been a "Packer" camper, CIT, and coach. She will be attending Colgate University and will continue playing there.

JARED SHANER

Jared played 4 years of Varsity Soccer at Weston High School and was an outstanding goal keeper. In 2005 his team won the CT State Class M Championship. He was named All-State in soccer and academics his Sr. year. Jared has been coaching for 7 years, the past 3 with Packer Soccer Camp. He is currently at Ohio Wesleyan College.

BRYCE TRINKA

Bryce has been playing soccer for 15 years. He played at Weston High School for 2 years and Wilbur Hampton & Munson Prep School for 2 years. He graduates in June and will attend the Univ. of Connecticut and continue his playing career there. He has been a Packer Soccer Camp coach for 3 years.

DANA BRADLEY

Dana has been playing soccer for 12 years and is currently on the Brien McMahon High School team. She has attended Packer Soccer Camp as a camper, a CIT and for two years, and Grasshopper coach for 1 year. She plans to play mid-field for Brien McMahon this coming fall.

FRANCESCA CHIAMULERA

Francesca will be attending her Sophomore year at Susquehanna University is PA during the fall. She has been on the Eastern FC Premier Soccer Team for 3 years and went to the Nationals twice. She played 4 years at Darien High School and has been a camper, CIT and coach at Packer Soccer.

KYLE MURRAY

Kyle has been playing soccer for 12 years, including 4 years on the Stamford High School team. He played travel soccer for the Stamford Hurricanes for 4 years. He has been a camper, CIT and coach for 2 years.

LISA RANDALL

Lisa has been playing soccer for over 10 years and was captain of the Darien Soccer Team while playing center mid-field. She will major in communications/journalism with a minor in English at Villanova University in the fall. She has been with Packer Soccer Camps for the past 5 years.
