DICK PACKER, Director
Dick Packer started playing soccer when he was six years old, then through grade school, prep school, college and the pros. While attending Penn State University, he set a still-standing record of 24 goals in one season. He also led that club to two NCAA championships and was named an All-American both seasons. Dick has been a member of the U. S. Olympic Soccer team and the U. S. Armed Forces European Soccer team. He is involved in youth soccer programs in Connecticut. Dick lives in Rowayton, Connecticut, and is Regional Vice President of Maritz Travel, an international meeting and incentive travel company.

SHAWN CHASE, Head Coach
Shawn has been with Packer Soccer Camps since 1986 as a camper, CIT, Coach and Head Coach. He is a graduate of Trinity Catholic High School where he was a 4 year varsity starter and All FCIAC Selection. He was also a member of FC United Soccer Club. Shawn graduated from Merrimack College in 2002 with a degree in Chemistry and Math and has been teaching and coaching Varsity Soccer at Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA for the past 5 years. He is also a USSF Licensed Official.

DAVID SHARPE, Assistant Head Coach
David was a Packer Soccer camper for 7 years, a CIT for 2 years, a coach for 3 years, and Assistant Camp Director for 2 years. He played soccer at Staples High School in Westport. David was All-FCIAC, Norwalk Hour & CT Post All Area Team as a goalie, and was active with the CT ODP, Super Y League and FC Westchester starting Keeper U 11-19. He currently plays for Villanova University in Philadelphia.

LOUIS ELNEUS
Louis is the Founder and Director of Haiti Lumiere de Demain (“Light of Haiti”), a non profit organization providing school books & solar powered flashlights for the children of Haiti. Packer Soccer Camp donates proceeds from the camp to this fine organization. Louis has been coach at Packer Soccer Camp for 12 years.

Louis graduated from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, CT, where he spent four years playing soccer. Following college he was the assistant women’s coach at the Univ. of Bridgeport for two years, then assisted men’s coach Josepf McGuigan at Sacred heart.

For the past three years Louis has coached the Rowayton Women’s Soccer League as well as various youth programs and individual players.

MEREDITH BARCIA
Meredith is currently playing soccer and attending Penn State University at Altoona, PA. She had an outstanding freshman season. Meredith was all FCIAC while at New Canaan H.S. and a Packer Soccer Camp camper for
7 years and coach for 5 years.

GRAHAM CHRISTENSEN
Graham has been playing soccer for 12 years in Darien, where he starred for Darien HS, was All FCIAC during his Jr. & Sr. years, and Captain of his team. He played Beachside Premier for 3 seasons. Graham will be attending Connecticut College in Sept. where he plans to continue his outstanding soccer career. Graham was a Packer Soccer Camp camper for 3 years, CIT for 1 year and a coach for 4 years.

CATHERINE KAPUSTYNSKI
Catherine played soccer at Darien High School; was Captain of her team and 2nd team All-FCIAC in 2006 & 2007. She will be attending Skidmore College where she will continue her impressive soccer career.

RYAN KENNEDY
Ryan grew up in Wilton and has been playing soccer for 14 years. He was a camper at Packer Soccer Camp for 6 years, a CIT for 2 years and a coach for 4 years. He has played on numerous regional teams at mid-field and is a US Soccer Federation referee. He plans to continue being active in soccer when he goes to college in the fall.

C.J. MORSEY
C.J. has been playing soccer for 8 years in Rowayton and at Brien McMahon High School. He has been a camper at Packer Soccer Camp for 2 years, a CIT for 2 years and Coach for 1 year. He is our “in house” techie and is currently attending the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering (AITE) in Stamford, CT. He is very popular with campers as well as their parents and his fellow coaches.

JARED SHANER
Jared played 4 years of Varsity Soccer at Weston High School and was an outstanding goal keeper. In 2005 his team won the CT State Class M Championship. He was named All-State in soccer and academics his Sr. year. Jared has been coaching for 7 years, the past 3 with Packer Soccer Camp. He is currently at Ohio Wesleyan College.

BRYCE TRINKA
Bryce has been playing soccer for 15 years. He played at Weston High School for 2 years and Wilbur Hampton & Munson Prep School for 2 years. He graduates in June and plans to attend the Univ. of Connecticut and continue his playing career there. He has been a Packer Soccer Camp coach for 3 years.

ARIANA WILKENSON
Ariana played Rowayton Recreational Soccer and was on the Norwalk Roadrunners Travel Team for 4 years. She attended Phillips Exeter Academy in Andover, MA and played mid-field and keeper. She is a Jr. at Elon University in No. Carolina. She has been a Packer Soccer Camp coach for 3 years and is an emergency medical technician.
